Plan a romantic valentines day
Do some research and plan a
few surprises for this valentines day...Whether it's your first trip together or
you finished your 50th wedding
anniversary, a well-orchestrated romantic trip will not soon be forgotten. Now
that valentines day is just around the corner, it is time you plan for spending
tomorrow full of pleasure filled romantic surprises!!!
| 1. |
Consider your options
for romantic destinations. Do you want to drive or fly? Do you want to
create the mood in an urban setting like Paris, or a rugged place like Big
Sur?
|
| 2. |
Research
bed-and-breakfasts, small inns and private cabins or condos in your
destination area, once you nail down a place.
|
| 3. |
Ask about special room
features: large tubs, fireplaces, king-sized beds and patios with sweeping
views.
|
| 4. |
Research idyllic beach
walks, gentle mountain trails or picnic areas in the area you will be
visiting.
|
| 5. |
Investigate cozy
restaurants in and around your destination, and make a reservation for
two.
|
| 6. |
Allow for plenty of
relaxation time on your trip. If you are traveling for a weekend, but have
a long drive, skip out early on Friday.
|
| 7. |
Arrange for special
treats to greet you when you arrive. Champagne, chocolates and flowers are
quintessential romantic treats.
|
| 8. |
Bring scented candles,
bubble baths and incense to create an extravagant setting within your
hotel room.
|
| 9. |
Rent a romantic movie.
Push the furniture out of the way and spread a blanket out on the floor.
Make sure to have plenty of pillows.
|
| 10. |
Take a drive out in
the country to a predetermined spot. Set up a picnic ahead of time, with
wine and candles. Watch the sun go down or the moon come up.
|
| 11. |
Build a bonfire on the
beach. Roast marshmallows.
|
| 12. |
Buy a book and some
massage oils. Learn to give and receive a good rub.
|
Happy Valentines day!!!
